This addon adds a few more uses to the strong iron golems. Now you can tame them! the good thing is that now they know they are made up of iron, and are immune to projectiles (Like arrows) which means now raids are a child's play for them

I don't really know how to explain this in form of text (which you are reading right now) so here is a In game proof that this addon works and explains completely about this addon so that you don't have to read the below stuff:

Iron Golems: Normal changes

Iron golems will be spawning as usual, in villages. What would have been changed in them is that now they can be healed by villagers, like armorers, tool smiths and weapon smiths. If anyone of these mentioned villager is nearby (in a 10 block radius) to an iron golem, they will provide the golem regeneration which will allow the golem to fight without worrying of dying. Even you, as a player can heal them using iron ingots, iron nuggets and iron blocks. (Iron nugget = 1 heart, Iron ingot = 3 hearts, iron block = 12 hearts).

How to Tame:

To tame an iron golem, you will require iron ingots. It may not be necessary that they will be tamed in one go, it might take 5-10 ingots sometimes (Or even more ?). Just interact it while holding your ingot and once if it is tamed, it will indicate it though heart particles around his head.

Iron Golems: After taming

After an iron golem is tamed, you can ride it, store your stuff inside it's inventory, move it around, gain it's help in a battle, make it follow you, etc. To control it while riding it, use iron rods, just ride it, hold your rod in your hand, and the golem will start to move (Inertia applies, so it might not move straight at the start, but will try to after 1-2 seconds of you holding the rod).
An iron rod can be obtained through crafting, the crafting recipe is quite simple too!
