We all wish some aspects of Minecraft would be updated or changed, but with one major update a year some aspects that need updating can take a while to be changed. With my add-on, I plan to make these changes we all want with the input and ideas of anyone who enjoys this add-on!

Introduction: This add-on focusses on overhauling many aspects of Minecraft over the course of a series of updates, the first of which being the end update and the second will be the nether update which is yet to be released, other updates will be coming but the focus of them is still undecided. Feel free to give suggestions for the current update, next update or future updates in the comments or via dm on discord!

Update 1: End Update!

The end has remained the same for a very long time, with many other places in Minecraft receiving updates it leaves a lot to be desired for the end and the endgame in general after the dragon is slain. With my first release of this add-on I have completely reinvented the way we see Minecraft after reaching the end dimension with new items, armours and even a biome!

Content in the update:

The Deepbark Biome:

Starting with the main part of this update and one of the biggest parts:
The Deepbark biome is a thick forest where dense, purple fog has taken over, this fog results in very few mobs daring to wander the area creating an eerie atmosphere of emptiness. The ground in this biome is composed of a new block called vysillium, on this block two different types of flowers grow, the lochinvar rosebush and the vysillium tulip. The trees are made of Deepbark logs and Deepbark leaves, as well as scattered flowering Deepbark leaves. You can also find occasional small water pools here with end lilypads on the surface of the water. This biome spawns fairly commonly and usually around the outskirts of the end islands, this biome cannot spawn on the main island where the dragon fight takes place.

The Structures:

This add-on contains many structures, ranging from small to massive, all with unique purposes.
Dragon Skeletal Structures -
The dragon ribcage skeletal structure is the smallest of the three and also the most common, it can spawn slightly above ground or almost fully below. It's a great source of crystallised dragon blocks.
The full skeleton is the remains of an ancient, slightly larger ender dragon that went extinct long ago, these dragons are said to hold treasure in there mouths and can spawn slightly buried or fully uncovered.
The largest skeletal structure and largest overall structure in this add-on is the colossal ancient dragon skull. This is the remains of an ancient dragon that went extinct millions of years ago, it measures in at over 40 blocks long and three times the length of the ender dragon, it is said that great treasure lies within the skull. However, due to this structure's tendency to generate half-buried you may have to dig out the end stone from within it's mouth.
Battle Tower Structures -
These are difficult to pass through, dangerous structures that are the only source of scrolls of strength. They also contain many other valuable loot chests that contain randomised contents.
The first variation, and smaller of the two spawns anywhere in the air, this could right above the void or tens of blocks above the end islands, the spawn many shulkers so make sure you don't end up floating to high, it's a long way to fall!
The second variation of the end battle towers contain many more challenging enemies but contain more, and better loot chests, in this structure you will find all hostile end mobs.
Pollen Strongholds -
This structure spawns fairly rarely, and usually, near Deepbark biomes. It contains some deadly foes lurking within the waters and the chests contain many plantlife items and pouches of potent pollen.
End Reservoirs -
These small structures are a great source of Deepbark blocks outside of the biome and also contain a few endermite spawners.
Frog Spawners -
These spawners can be found in the Deepbark biome accompanied by many plant blocks from this biome. Deepbark Frogs serve an important purpose sop it may be best not to destroy this spawners straight away, You can find out more about the Deepbark Frog in the mob section of this page.
Deepbark Bushes -
Bushes now spawn in the Deepbark biome adding even more life and filling in some empty space in the biome.
End Libraries -
These small buildings are one of the most important structures in this add-on, within them they contain ancient texts long lost from the Minecraft world. Ancient books imbued with the power of enchanting items to a higher level than what was previously believed, (Unbreaking IV, efficiency VI, etc.). However the texts required for peak sharpness and protection lie elsewhere.
Ranged Arena Structures -
This very rare structure is said to contain a crossbow with the power of instant drawing (quick charge V) and a bow with the power of dealing incredible damage (power X, power value is only this high for pvp balancing due to high armour defence value).
End Temple Structure -
This is the rarest and perhaps most dangerous structure in the add-on, it contains incredible loot as well as a book of sharpness VI and protection V, many enemies will spawn here though so be cautious.
Void Cat Structure -
This structure spawns relatively rarely in the end and contains a few end items and blocks as well as crying obsidian within chests located inside. These chests also contain a valuable block that is not usually obtainable in survival mode, budding amethyst. A single void cat can also be found inside this structure, you can find out more about that in the mob section of this page.

The mobs:

Deepbark Frog -
This mob spawns from spawner blocks found naturally in the Deepbark biomed, when killed they drop 0-5 Deepbark Frog mucus which can be used to craft slime pads.
Void Cats -
These mobs can be found within the Void Cat Structure and will act just like any other cat, they drop string and can be tamed with raw fish.
After being tamed these cats will act similar to wolves. They will fight beside you dealing significantly more damage than a wolf and have much more health than wolves. They also do not have a colour setting them apart from other cats, it's multiple eye colours also set it apart from other tamed cats.

The Blocks:

Many blocks can be found in this add-on, some craftable and some found only in structures, many have crafting recipe purposes but others are purely decorational.
Deepbark family -
From left to right, Deepbark log (side facing and top facing), leaf variants - all obtainable from the deepbark biome. Deepbark planks, slabs and stairs - all craftable.
Plant family -
The lochinvar rosebush, Deepbark tulip, end lilypad and Deepbark sapling, all obtainable from the Deepbark biome.
Bone block familiy -
Crystallised bone blocks can be crafted into crystallised dragon bones, all other blocks are decorational and all can be obtained from dragon skeletal structures.
Void ore family -
Void ore can be found anywhere in the end below y level 55 and they drop 1-5 void shards, the sides of end islands are great places to look for this ore. Void crystal blocks are crafted from 9 void crystals.
1.5 Update Blocks -
The Deepbark fruit leaves (left) generate naturally in Deepbark trees along with the two existing leaf blocks, the generate a small amount of light to bring some light into the Deepbark biome and add a food source into the end that can be obtained by breaking these leaves. The slime pad can be crafted using 3 Deepbark Frog mucus and can be placed  on top of any block, upon walking over these blocks you run incredibly fast, this effect can be amplified with speed potions. This allows for the creation of very long pathways for incredibly fast travel.

The Items:

Moving on to the biggest part of this add-on, the items, starting with the crafting materials and how you can obtain them.
Crafting materials -
From left to right -
The void shard can be obtained in quantities of 1-5 from mining the void ore.
The void crystal can be crafted from 4 void shards and is the main ingredient of all armour and most tools.
Vials of dragon tears are a new item dropped by the ender dragon on death.
The corrupted rod can be crafted by combining a blaze rod and a vial of dragon tears.
The empty glass orb is craftable by combining 4 glass blocks and a diamond.
The crystallised dragon bone can be obtained from various chests in dragon skeletal structures or two can be crafted from one block of crystallised dragon bone.
A pile of crystallised bone dust can be crafted from 9 crystallised dragon bones and is a key ingredient in the crafting of the Hexed Void Scythe.
The scroll of strength can be obtained from chests in end tower structures and is a key ingredient in the crafting of the Forceful Void Scythe.
The pouch of potent pollen can be obtained from chests in the pollen stronghold and is a key ingredient is the crafting of the Spirited Void Scythe.
The equipment and tools -
From left to right and up to down -
Note: All crafting recipes are visible in game from the crafting menu so to save you time I won't go through them here.
The tools in this add-on are all faster than netherite when unenchanted however due to a Minecraft bug the efficiency enchantment does not work with them (this text will be removed when this bug is fixed) so they are only effective at mining blocks from this mod and not as good as enchanted netherite for mining vanilla blocks. These tools are named, Void Shovel, Void Hooked Hoe, Void Pickaxe and Void Waraxe. The weapon in this mod features a crafting tree with the default scythe having no special properties but the recoloured variants (Spirited Void Scythe, Hexed Void Scythe, and Forceful Void Scythe) all possess a unique ability for you to choose based on your play style, more info on those further down the page.
The armour in this add-on is crafted with void crystals and grants the most defence of any armour in the game. The Lochinvar flower crown is a purely decorational headgear option for those who want to take a break from the combat and wear a nice flower crown, it grants very little defence.
The corrupted end pearl is a unique item that allows the user to teleport 7 blocks in the direction they're looking allowing them to pass through walls and negate fall damage if used right before hitting the ground.
The corrupt firework is a very useful item that allows the user to shoot up 30 blocks high making it perfect for an elytra start up or for traversing high locations without an elytra, but you may want a bit of feather falling before using it.
The corrupt orb items all offer different perks depending on which one you craft. The variations are orb of leaping, orb of regeneration, orb of invisibility and orb of swiftness. All of them will grant their potion effect for a short amount of time and then go on cooldown for a short while before they can be used again.
Void Scythe Deep Dive -
Regular Void Scythe (armour featured here is the flower crown along with void armour set) -
This scythe does one more damage than the netherite sword and has no special properties.
Spirited Void Scythe -
This scythe is crafted with one regular void scythe and 8 pouches of potent pollen, it creates a pool of many level 1 positive potion effects that last for 2 minutes, the holder of this weapon can either choose to use this to boost their own abilities or act as a rally point for allies. The cooldown of this weapon is 3 minutes allowing for 2 minutes of uptime and 1 minute of downtime on the potion effects. Due to the large amounts of particles created it's best for only one person to use this weapon at a time to avoid major lag.
Hexed Void Scythe -
The wielder of this weapon can shoot a small magic projectile that deals high damage every 5 seconds, the projectile does slightly more damage than a hit of a regular scythe and as a result this scythe does 8 damage instead of 9. This weapon is crafted with one regular void scythe and 9 piles of crystallised bone dust.
Forceful Void Scythe -
This weapon is all about speed and damage. The wielder of this weapon can affect themselves with strength 3, haste 3 and speed 1 for 15 seconds with a 45 second cooldown, creating a downtime of 30 seconds. This weapon can be crafted with one regular void scythe and 8 scrolls of strength.
1.5 Update Items -
Deepbark Berries can be obtained from Deepbark Fruit Leaves and give 3 hunger bars and a very large amount of saturation as well as 15 seconds of night vision. Deepbark Frog Mucus can be obtained from slaying Deepbark Frogs.
